Former President George W. Bush is not expected to attend a Thursday event at the White House\u2019s East Room for the unveiling of a U.S. Postal Service stamp dedicated to his late mother.<\/p>\n

Dorothy Bush Koch, the former president\u2019s younger sister, is listed by Trump\u2019s office as one of several featured speakers at the event. Alice Yates, the chief executive of the George and Barbara Bush Foundation, will also attend.<\/p>\n

In the 2019 book The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of a Dynasty<\/i>, Barbara called Trump \u201ca symbol of greed.\u201d\u00a0 It is reported that she was worth around $25 million at the time of her death, separate from her husband\u2019s net worth.\u00a0 Donald Trump is worth around $5.2 billion.\u00a0 Is net worth a symbol of greed or a symbol of success?<\/p>\n

Nonsensically Barbara Bush said, \u201cTrump<\/em> now means greed<\/em>, selfishness and ugly.\u201d\u00a0 As far as I know she gave no examples of what made her believe that or what she meant by that.<\/p>\n

The book also revealed that months before she died in 2018, Barbara said she no longer considered herself a Republican despite having been one of the party\u2019s most recognizable faces.
